Antonietta Toni Gonzalez-Collins, a Mexican American broadcaster. Her employer is ESPN and is the SportsCenter News Anchor. She joined ESPN in the year 2016. She is a daughter of Maria Antonieta Collins, a journalist on television. Antonietta Collins is a bilingual woman and has been so since when she was nine years old. She worked in the same role for Primer Impacto on UniMas Network as well as Contacto Deportivo for its magazine show. Antonietta's parents were originally from Veracruz Mexico. Her birth date was November 22nd on the 22nd of October, 1985 in Mexico City. Also, she has a younger sibling. The family in 1992 left Mexico and moved to Miami. After a while they separated, and, in 1995 Fabio Fajardo got married again. He died from kidney cancer in the year 2006. On a family vacation in Ohio, the young Collins took a place with her older sister. Antonietta who was in high school with an idea of what she wanted her future to be, visited Mount Union University in order to find out what she could get out of the college. The campus was beautiful and provided the education she sought. When she completed her high school education she attended the university to study media studies. Mark Bergmann - her professor was also the station managing director at WRMU (91.1 FM) which was where she felt at home. Professor Bergmann encouraged her to believe in herself and was deeply moved by his love of journalism.
